Autocross Test & Tune Day

August 21 - Use this event to test and tune your car, then participate in the next day's autocross.

This event is limited to 50 cars and you have the option of choosing from two types of registration. Registration is available online only -- no walkups.Please do not sign up if you are a first-timer; this is a test and tune. This is not an autocross event.

1. If you are bringing a car, then you must register as "driver & car" which gets you and your car into the event. Cost is $50. Lunch is NOT provided.

2. If you are only driving (i.e. sharing a car with a person who is registered as a "driver & car") then you should register as a "driver only" for $5.

Note that, as with all of our events, you must be a BMW CCA member to participate in our events. Registration closes at noon on Wednesday before the event.

1. skid pad (likely 100-150' diameter) 
2. figure-8
3. slalom
4. mini-course

The mini-course will be timed and the display will be at the end of the mini-course so you can see your time when you finish. This will allow you to see if the changes you are making (and have tested in the other test areas) are making the car faster or slower.

We will start set up at 8am and hope to open up the test areas at 9am. Any help setting up will be appreciated. You may show up at any time during the day. You will need to check in at the trailer, sign the waiver and get a wrist band. ONLY REGISTERED CARS/DRIVERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE.

Similar to our Car Control Clinics, you will be responsible for picking up any cones you knock over. Please be kind to other participants and pick up any cones you knock over.

This is the first test and tune so we may have to make changes as we go. We will be "tuning" the event throughout the day based on the feedback from participants.

We will be using the auxiliary parking lot -- please enter through the gate on Centennial Blvd., south of Tasman Drive.
